Privacy
You are giving us your phone number and your caste. That is sensitive information, and this page tells you exactly what we do with it.

What we collect
Your name, mobile number, caste and sub-caste, district, and — only if you choose to give them — your email, date of birth, occupation and education. Your mobile number is verified by a one-time password so that the register contains real people.
Why we collect it
For one purpose: to maintain a register of the members of this community, and to be able to contact you about it. We do not profile you, we do not advertise to you, and we do not use your data to build anything else.
Your consent
We ask for it explicitly at registration, with the box unticked, and we record when you gave it. You may withdraw it at any time by writing to us, and withdrawal is as easy as consent was.
Who else sees it
Nobody. We do not sell, rent or share your data with any political party, candidate, company or organisation. There is no member directory: other members cannot see your details, and neither can the public. Only our own administrators can.
How long we keep it
Until you ask us to delete it, or until this organisation stops operating — whichever comes first. When you ask, we delete your record; we do not merely hide it.
Your rights
You may ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, and nominate someone to act for you if you cannot. Write to the address below and we will act within a reasonable time.
How it is protected
Member records are held in an access-controlled database. The public side of this website has no ability to read them at all, and administrator accounts require two-factor authentication.
